Working with papers printed personally, Anita combines different printmaking techniques with intricate collage work to emphasise the act of the hand, of time and labour in depicting the natural world of her childhood growing up along the Murray River. "I have taken some of our fish from the muddy rivers ... and placed them on a mantelpiece of my own making" turing the local Cod into a majestic beauty.
